How much do you charge for an event?
Rates will vary from event to event. Feel free to contact us to get a quote!
What areas do you serve?
We are located in Honolulu and serve all areas of Oahu.
how do i book an event?
Send an email to gwen@ginandjulep.com or fill out a quote request form here and you will be contacted within 48 hours regarding your request.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover payments.
do you have a liquor license?
No, G&J is a bartending service with a dry mobile bar rental. After booking, G&J will provide a shopping list of suggested liquor, beer, wine, & bubbly, as well as the amount needed for your private event according to the number of guests and party details.
what is your payment and refund policy?
Full payment is due 1 month before the event date. Refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Can I hire Gin & Julep’s bar services if my event is being held at a hotel?
It is best to check first with the venue about their relevant policy and practices in regards to outside bar services.
HOw far in advance do i need to book?
It is recommended that you book us as far in advance as possible to ensure we are available for your event. At least one month prior is preferred.
DO you provide the alcohol?
Due to State of Hawaii Liquor Laws, our clients are required to provide the alcohol for the event. We can and do, though, work closely with the event host to determine the amount of alcohol required. We can pick up everything you need and deliver it to the venue on the day of your event.
is gratuity included in the rates?
Gratuity is not included in the cost of your event. A tip jar is a standard practice for the full bar services but in cases where a tip jar is discouraged, the host is responsible for a 20% gratuity fee.
can i taste the drinks before the event?
Yes! A tasting before the event can be scheduled for a fee. Inquire directly with G&J.
Do you offer food?
We do not offer food but we are more than happy to recommend some awesome local vendors.
